Hey everyone. I am very new to the hackintosh community and have just started a project. I just recently purchased and received a Razer Blade 14 which is a insane machine. Looking at the specs I am very confident it is possible to hackintosh this device (without discrete graphics functionality). I have tried to use many methods but the main issue I am running into is actually getting my Razer to boot my boot loader USB. Can someone direct me to the best method of properly getting OSX installed in this machine? Thank you!

Specs

Intel Core i7-4702 HQ Quad Core 2.2Ghz
3200x1800 QHD+ display
8GB on board memory (ram)
128GB M.2 sata SSD hard drive
Intel Wireless-AC 7260HMW
Windows 8.1 OS

As far as I know no one has gotten OS X to work at retina resolutions with HD4600 (only HD5000+).

Not even if it's down scaled to around 1080 resolution? I just want to at least boot a installer and go from there. Any progress is good at this point.

Not sure anyone has tried that. It would require extracting EDID, then editing it to remove the QHD+ mode, leaving only 1080p timings (assuming they are there in the first place), then injecting the custom EDID using DSDT and/or injection via Clover.

Yes, it does. But we are talking Haswell here, not Ivy.

Wow you're right. Why would Razer use a new haswell processor but with a HD 4600 :banghead:

HD4600 is Haswell. Just another example of Intel's "brilliant" marketing department coming up with names for things.

can someone give me instructions on how to create a bootable boot loader for this computer? Can't seem to boot any of the boot loaders i've been using.

You can probably boot by removing all Intel graphics kexts (AppleIntelFrame*, AppleIntelSNB*, AppleIntelHD*).

I meant that the issue I am having is that my computer is not even recognizing my boot loader USB as a boot option.

Did you disable secure boot and enable legacy boot in BIOS?
