Please Help. This is my first time making a hackintosh build. And unfortunately i am short of luck on this.

This is my setup:

Intel i7-4930k
Gigabyte GA-x79-up4 F5
Asus GTX 680
32gb Kingston Hyper X 1866MHz
Corsair H100i cooler

I was able to install Mavericks 10.9.2 by following egotrippin's guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...igabyte-x79-up4-3930k-gtx-690-ocz-vertex.html

System's working fine except for the slow motion display and no sound. I made a video of my display so you'll have an idea what i meant when i say slow motion display. https://vimeo.com/90064979

Can anyone please help me? I have also downloaded and installed drivers and cuda enablers from nvidia website but still didn't fix my display problem.

Thank you in advance.

Maybe you put the graphic card on a slow PCI port? there is not enough bandwidth?

Regarding sound you have to check the specs from the audio chip and only install the proper KEXT

Hi T0olbox,

Your issue is to do with the fact that your CPU is 6 cores (Intel i7-4930k), which many believe is not supported.
There is a thread on this you can check out for more info > http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...e-i7-4930k-6-cores-cant-launch-installer.html

The only exception to this is to choose a quad-core CPU (like a Intel i7-4930k), which according to some reports, has a higher chance of working.

Thank you for your replies. i got it fixed after installing chameleon wizard. i can't remember what i put on the settings. but after rebooting it just worked fine.
