HP ProBook Installer 6.1: 4x30s and 4x40s support

philip, you can make a clover-only based one.
"For now", who want/need to use chameleon, can use a previous version of the PBI.

BTW, Clover seems to be the future..

Thanks!

hope future clover is as easy and straightforward as current chameleon pbi method, it has evolved quite a lot since the early days pre pbi, which looks like the current clover method is at the moment.

That's right, but right now I still wonder what to do: to add Clover to the current ProBook Installer or to make a new one that will be Clover-only based, what do you think about it, guys?

PBI with chameleon is pretty decent and stable

It is best to make a new one with clover from 1.0 version and paralelly to develop it and make it better

If users do not thik is better they can only revert to the latest PBI

And the guide would be completely different on Clover....

10x for keeping the comunity alive u rule! ! !

There is already a guide for Clover. Just the details of running the ProBook Installer and installing Clover would differ.

I think there should be a separate "Clover edition" PBI. It would make the PBI pretty complex to include both and complexity leads to bugs.

I was thinking of that, to make a new PBI with clover and make new instructions on how to use it (the new PBI with clover)

Just read the Clover guide, and it looks highly complex (it might be me, but i think PBI with chameleon is pretty easy to use)

RM, will u be able to include it in PBI and make it at least as close and easy to use it as the latest PBI with chimera... ? ? ?

If the PBI had direct support for Clover, certain aspects of the ProBook/Clover setup process would be simplified.

I'd go for two branches:
PBI (with Clover)
and PBI legacy (with Chameleon)
This way "critical" updates (if there would be any) could be applied to both new PBI and the old one.

If is the word, can we count on the Clover direct support, to develop it and make it as easy as PBI with chameleon . . .
