Confirmed Audio Interfaces (Hobbyist/Pro-sumer/Pro) & Drivers - Mac OS X

Avid OMNI pci-e works fine.
And this funny thing too.

Can you please clarify which PCIe card you are using with your Omni? HD|Native? HDX?

Thanks!

Hello guys,

My new USB 2.0 Audient iD22 works just fine with hackintosh :

32 samples @ 44.1 Khz on my current rig (and it was fine too with my old rig)

This soundcard just rock my world for a few weeks now. I was under 10.8.5 and I had to make a clean install when my old mobo died last week.
I'm working with Mavericks and I didn't get any glitch (so far) with both Logic X (10.0.4) and Live Suite (9.1 Beta) with NI Komplete 8, Maschine 1.8.2.

Cheers

Wow - good to hear about the Audient!! I'm a **HUGE HUGE** fan of their gear. I own a couple Audient MiCo 2-channel mic preamps. They are some serious bang for the buck, including built-in A/D that you can pipe into an interface via optical. Some of the most clear/transparent (uncolored) mic preamps that I've heard. I'm assuming that the iD22 uses the same killer mic pre's :)

Good on ya!

Made some recent updates/cross-grades to my studio. I can confirm that AVID HD|Native PCIe card + Avid HD I/O (8x8x8) interface combo works perfectly in ML 10.8.4.

DAJJAL - are you still monitoring & updating this thread? I was going to try & update the master list, but I guess some of my Mod-super-powers are no longer working LOL In the PCIe section, would you mind listing AVID HD|Native card (and also include Thunderbolt box as it enumerates as a PCIe device) and add this link to HD Omni interface, as well as this link to HD I/O interface.

Also, we need to now add a new section: Thunderbolt! I see some reports of the UAD Apollo via Thunderbolt as working. Also there's a new post in another thread & the user reports the new Apollo Twin via Thunderbolt as working. The new MOTU 828x now also includes Thunderbolt (but have not seen anyone posting a compatibility report...yet). THANKS!

Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo confirmed to work using the 7.5.1 UAD software

Yamaha MY16-AU Dante card installed in a Yamaha 01V96 V2 confirmed to work using the DVS driver.

I just built my first Hackitosh. I'm using the Mackie blackjack, witch is working out of the box, however I'm getting a good amount of CPU/mouse scrolling noise through my monitors. It's louder if I use the 1/8" out on the Mobo. I will be using this machine to mix audio on a regular basis. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove that noise?

Build:

Gigabyte GA-H87N-Wifi
Intel i5 4670
16GB corsair vengeance ram 1600 mhz
250GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD
1TB WD Black HDD
Gigabyte GT640 Video Card
Bitfenix prodigy Black

This is unfortunately off-topic for this thread. If you are having issues with your build & extraneous noise, please start a new thread/topic and request assistance so we can keep this discussion on-topic. Thanks for your understanding!

Not entirely, considering I do mention that the Mackie Blackjack is working out of the box. Please forgive me as I'm new to this forum. This won't happen again.

Note the part of your original post that I quoted in my reply - THIS is the part of your post that was OT. So since you're new here, thanks for understanding...and trying to keep your entire post on-topic in the future!! :D
