Try posting in the Laptop Forum - http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptops/

I have seen several T420 titled posts there.

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

System: Lenovo T420
CPU: i5-2520M/QM67
Graphics:
Intel HD Graphics 3000
NVIDIA NVS™ 4200M
1600x900

The nvidia is worthless as you can't use it in OS X. Try to find a model without it unless you need it in Windows.

Are you buying this machine used, or do you already own it?

I will buy a used from eBay or china taboo.

now I am still haven't it.

just for safe so before buy ask there.

i can choose without the nvs nvidia mode no problems.

any idea and suggestion also welcome.

The ProBooks, because of the ProBook Installer are much easier to install than any other laptop...

No. The ProBook Installer is only for select HP ProBook laptops.

If you have a ProBook, follow one of the guides in the ProBook forum(s).
