Everything working exept for sleep and card reader

Quick Guide (Tested and works on my machine)

-Disable hybrid graphics in Probook 450 g1 BIOS
-Boot and install OSX from Unibeast (Partition your drive with GUID table and create a Mac OSX Extended Journaled partition for installation)

-go to System Preferences/Security & Privacy click on the unlock settings and select "Anywhere"
-Use ProBook Installer check 4x0s G0 option for "OS X support kexts". Install Chameleon. Create SSDT.
Sleep Image Fix
-You can try to use my dsdtView attachment dsdt + ssdt.zip or read thread for DSDT work
-Use Multibeast for iMac14,2. Set DropSSDT=Y

-Repair Permissions with Disk Utility, Rebuild Cache with Kext Wizard

Old Message: Hello, I'm not sure this is the right section for posting. I'm from Italy and I can't find any HP probooks 4540s with core i7 here. Thought I can buy an HP probook 450 with seems to to compatible. I wan't to install osx Mavericks.

I have this choice Hp probook 450 with an i7-3632qm
or an HP 450 with I7-4702MQ a Haswell cpu, should be better, but is it supported? Does anyone have it?

The price is almost the same, but I want to be sure that it works with osx 10.9.

Thank you!

To my knowledge, no one has attempted an HP ProBook 450 G1 yet. I'm pretty certain it will work, but until someone has the hardware in hand with complete details on what is inside, the extent of what is supported cannot be determined.

I assume the ProBook 450 with Ivy is a 450 G0?

I could buy the Probook 450 g1, if there is a way to try to install osx without voiding the warranty and you guys give me a hand I could buy it and just send it back if I'm not able to get it to work. I have the right to 10 days to change my mind

these are the specs i know of:
CPUTecnologia: Core i7 i7-4702MQ
RAM 4GB Max 16
750GB HDD
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 8750M 1.024mb

Is mavericks now compatible with haswell?

PS. Yes, the other Hp 450 is Ivy Bridge

Yes it is. See here for some of the details on making it work: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...-locked-msrs-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq.html

I know that, but I was wondering if it was a 450 G0 (supported by the current ProBook Installer).

It doesn't say, but it's probable that one is the g0 end the other is the g1. OK, I'm going to try with the Haswell one (I'll use an external HDD first to try, if it works I'll install it to the internal HDD and do a guide). Thank you for your answer, I'll be back in a few day when the computer arrives!

Do you think the AMD Radeon HD 8750M graphics will work?

Hi kicko, good luck

OK, my HP 450 g1 has arrived, now I'm going to proceed with the osx installation. I'm going to try on an external HDD first to make sure everything works without loosing my warranty. I'll probably need help later. If all goes well I'll write a guide.
