GTX 780 crashes Premiere Pro CC

But it does work I. 10.9 preview?

The problem is any video card that uses the GK110B GPU and/+ any application that uses OpenCL. This combination causes the application to crash in OSX.
 
I got the evga gtx 780 which shows up as GK11x. That's the same thing huh?

I think so, but Im not 100%

What I do know is that at Adobe website specifications for both PP and AE, GTX780 is a supported graphics card (its on their list of compatible graphics cards) but this is for Windows. For Mac the GTX780 is not listed.

Ill update this with those web addresses and also some other links here that explain the issue with the GK110B GPU and OpenCL (need to do some errands right now).
 
Does anyone know if the NVIDIA inspector in Windows accurately tells which revision the 780 GTX is? I've found a card on Craigslist and the owner emailed me the attached screenshot.

As you can see the GPU is GK110 and the Revision is A1, but is that accurate? Hate to get it and have it crash my system.

Wow a stroke of luck!!! The evga gtx 780 model number 03G-P4-2781-KR that shows up as GK11X works in 10.9.1!!!! Had some issues with plug in but back in business!!! Thank you to EVERYONE in this forum you guys rock.

Seems like it should. If you find out please share. Ill be using that method as soon as I install Windows 8 either tomorrow or Sunday. Good luck.
 
So, are the B chips going to be showing up in all 780 cards? Or is it a different chip and will only show up on certain boards?
