All good here; For those with SSD drives that did not support TRIM out of the box and enabled TRIM through a app or terminal, this update did not disable it on my system. Had re-install audio as stated.

One funny thing is that the app store says that iWork needs to be updated to .01, when it already has been. Whatever.

Using Software Update worked like a charm. Just had to reinstall ALC889 driver using Multibeast like everyone else.

Motherboard: GA-Z68XP-UD3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD6850 (Gigabyte GV-R685D5-1GD)
32GB 1600 DDR3

Having a cloned drive using one of the recommended cloning utilities makes this type of update stress-free.

Hi, i installed os x 10.9 and everything worked great. My sound card is Realtek ALC1200. When i was in 10.9 sound worked fine. Now that i updated to 10.9.1 i reinstalled the necessary kexts again, but i still have no sound. Why it doesn't work?

even after the update my mac still freezes completely. i have a gigabyte ga-z77-ud5h with 3770k processor and i'm using the intel hd4000 graphics. anyone has a solution for that?

Updated mine as well and works without any problem. I was taken a back when the update which says "about 3 minutes" end up finish in less than a minute. Well, I guess that's the advantage for having SSD. So anyway, my specs is as below for reference:

Motherboard: GA-B75M-D3V (rev 2.0)
GPU: Asus GTX560Ti
