Install Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard on Haswell Based PCs

Yeah, I'm afraid it's a 720p. I do have a 1080p screen though, but I don't have Ethernet access in my room (Only Wi-Fi, and that was not working yet so I couldn't download the combo update) so I had to go down to the living room, so I used the TV. But I'll just try with my own screen this evening - or tomorrow, don't know how soon I'll have time yet.

To be honest with you, those old 720 Monitor/TV's can be a real pain in Windows let alone OS X. My Suggestion from this point would be to move your computer to an ethernet location and a 1080p display, complete the procedure of creating your Mavericks UniBeast Installer. Then when you have some money invest in a new Monitor if this is possible and also a compatible Wifi adapter as found here in the Accessories section of the buyers guide.

I switched to internal graphics and it all works fine now. Put the computer back up in my room and using my new 1080p monitor that I got with the PC, and I also have the TP-Link WDN4800 so Wi-Fi is also working fine now. Gonna update to 10.9 today and hope that I can use my external graphics card then. Thanks for your help :)

You're welcome. You will be able to use your 760 in Mavericks as it is supported. Glad you are figuring it out.

Yeah... figuring it out, huh ^^ I managed to download the 10.9 update now. I couldn't download UniBeast and MultiBeast though because Safari keeps getting stuck when I try to load tonymacx86.com. So I just downloaded them on my laptop and copied them over via USB Stick. Then I plugged in my 8GB USB Stick for UniBeast, partitioned it just as the guide says, ran UniBeast and... fail. The Installation doesn't even start. An error comes up after I enter my password. Tried it with another USB Stick, same thing. This is confusing me because I seriously don't have a clue what could have gone wrong this time :confused:o_O:crazy: Sorry to fall on your nerves again

Take a look here. UniBeast Troubleshooting Notes

Well, I didn't expect that ^^ So if this is the only mistake (which I don't know, but let's just assume so for a moment), it should work if i just set system language to english, right? Lol that would be... lol ^^

Yes it should. That is probably the only thing that is stopping you creating the Mavericks Installer.

It wasn't the only problem. But after I installed Apple Software Installer Update 1.0, everything worked fine... until now. I was able to install and boot up Mavericks, but after running MulitBeast and rebooting, this screen came up:

Have I done something wrong in MultiBeast or what else could that mean?

What selections did you make in MultiBeast 6.0.1?

i chose dsdt-free, changed the audio codec to the one my motherboard uses (realtek alc892), set the ethernet controller to intel and i also set something with usb 3.0 and 1080p - just read your "how to know what to install with multibeast", and now i think the 1080p thing was the mistake as this is only for GraphicsEnabler=Yes, right?
