Unibeast 3.0.1 makes mavericks installation usb without a problem. However the usb won't boot, the system displays me the chameleon screen for my current Mountain Lion chameleon loader. How can i debug this ?

I have already tried all my USB ports and 2 different usb sticks. I have a probook 4530 with stock screen. i5 Sandy bridge.

Regards,

Regards,

Did you disable Radeon in BIOS per step #5 in the guide?

Yes i did. I also disabled Virtualization Technology. I tried with UEFI boot enabled and disabled. I tried all usb sockets of my laptop. i currently have OS X 10.8.5. I want to upgrade. Can i directly run Mavericks installer from within 10.8.5 and then run probookinstaller before restarting to update?

Are you using f9 at bios to select the USB to boot from?

Yes i am. I feel stupid after finding out that the check on "enable legacy usb" was absent. Just mentioning here for others. Thanks for the help rehab man.

This is why the guide instructs to set BIOS to defaults...

hello

today i make a usb stick with retail osx maverics on uunibeast 3.0.1. Everything ok. but when i am booting my stock HP Probook 4530s, installer stuck on Apple logo. Any ideas? I have default settings on my bios, only intel HD 3000 graphics and enable usb legacy.

I'll try with -x, -v and many more combinations, and nothing:(

For the ProBook, you do not need USB legacy.

Without another option in Unibeast, installer still stuck on apple logo. My bios is set to default :(

Boot "-v" to get diagnostics. Post quality photo where it stops.
