Hey Im having serious trouble getting OSX to Boot. I currently have the same specs

Gigabyte Z87-UD3H
Intel 4770k
EVGA 760 2GB
16GB RAM
256 M4 Crucial SSD

I can only boot into safe mode, Ive followed your exact multibeast config but seem it still doesnt work.

Wondering if you could shed some light for me?

Boot using -v and then post a picture of the error. Also, try booting in safe mode and then fixing disk permissions via disk utility. See if that works.

I fixed it!

For some reason i had to use PCIRootUID=0 on boot up.

But now all seem swell.

Thanks for the build help Seven.

I have same Motherboard, but no graphics card just onboard 4600, I can boot in safe mode -x but not anything else, I run -v and it stalls out on the fakeSMC any thoughts? I used the new 6.0 version of multibeast and running mavericks. in safe mode everything seems to work though there is a lot of tearing which I kind of expected with the onboard graphics.

1) Install fakeSMC via multibeast 6.0 in safe mode again just to be sure.

2) Follow this guide:

his build is more similar to yours

best of luck!

i have the same mobo as you, and every seems to be working except sleep. when either it auto sleeps, or i manually press sleep, the HDD light keeps blinking and the fans still run. then every few minutes the fans burst in the full blast for a few seconds then go back to the regular speed, but no matter what i do i cant seem to get them to turn off during sleep, even though the 3 moniters i have turn off. could it be that i have a h100i as a cpu cooler?

Thanks for the help

Hi,
first and foremost I want to say thanks for your guide, it has helped me a lot getting my system to run.
Unfortunately I encountered a problem with my hackintosh: it keeps freezing randomly and it sometimes gets kernel panics (both on 10.8.5 and 10.9).
I thought that this might be caused by the audio kexts (HDAEnabler1 and patched AppleHDA from MultiBeast), but I removed them from S/L/E (booted with -f afterwards) and I still got a freeze.
I would be thankful for any tips or solutions.

My system:
i7-4770k
GA-Z87X-UD3H
32GB RAM
GTX770 4GB

OSX 10.9
BIOS settings as in SquadSeven’s first post

Boot options:
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>IGPEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string> -v</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>"1920x1080x32"</string>

EDIT 1: Seems that using IGPEnabler=No has fixed the problem.

EDIT 2: The freezes and kernel panics are gone, but after a while (i.e. when listening to music) the audio output stops and there are only sound pops. Anyone with the same problem?

Hello! I honestly have no idea as I've never used a water cooling system. Could you try with the stock cooler? And if the same problem persists then it might be the cooler.

Honestly I've never experienced this problem. Are you using the green audio port at the rear?
