Thats's just awesome! Thank you!. This might be a stupid question but does the USB stick have to be made on a real mac?
I tried last night on my ML Custo Mac and it wouldn't boot. Right now making the USB instal stick with my Macbook Pro to see it that makes a difference.

Thanks for getting this guide and Unibeast up for your members so fast! You guys rock!

EDIT: I guess RTFM comes into play here. I didn't see the MBR choice instead of GUID for Unibeast 3.0

I'm trying to install Mavericks on a GA-P55M-UD2 F11 with an Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT 512 MB card. After the apple logo appears, the screen goes black and the monitor is going to sleep. I tried the boot flags writing them as outlined above (with no "-" in front) and did not work

GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks very much !!

Just 2 questions:

when:
14. If using a Socket 1156 system without Rate Matching Hub (RMH) USB choose Legacy USB Support
15. If using a laptop, choose Laptop Support

Do you speak about where we download mavericks (for me macbook pro 2009, so laptop support)
or were we'll install this (have not yet but probably a haswell I5 etc...)

and:
18. Drag MultiBeast to your completed USB drive.

I assume it's the 6.0.0 Mavericks version but i need to be sure :)

Thx.

Ugh, I'm sure it's a dumb question, but theres no way to just update my current ML install/boot loader? It has to be a clean install, correct?

Just downloaded Mavericks and Unibeast 3.0.0 and get "Installation Failed" after about 2 minutes of writing to my USB thumb drive.. Any ideas? Nothing has been modified and I'm following the instructions to the letter.. Thanks..

Try downloading the Mavericks installer again from the store then it will work, I had the same problem.

Good luck!

I´ll test it on mine - Gigabyte GA55 and i5 with ATI graphix and let you know how it will work!

I'm having the same problem, except it only takes about 15 seconds. Have tried clearing the partition and making a new one a couple of times and keep getting the same result.

I just installed it on top of 10.8.5 with unibeast and the whole process took like 40 minutes from downloading everything to writing this text. Make sure you disable Nvidia Web Drivers until they update them.

DSDT-Free
Z87X-UD5H
4770K
GTX770
Samsung 840 Pro

WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!Honestly you guys are awesome!!!!!

I've created a bootable USB drive and I can boot to it but it hangs at the Chimera boot screen, which shows the USB drive and my SSD with ML installed. I can't choose and continue. I also can't seem to type in any boot flags.
