Okay so in IORegistry here is what i have under HDEF:

The next thing to check is if those properties carry over into HDEF under IOService plane.

After that check that AppleHDA is loading (there should be a bunch of stuff attaching to HDEF in IOService). If you don't have it there, then verify you have the correct patched AppleHDA.kext installed, that kernel cache builds correctly, and that there are no errors or messages from AppleHDA in system.log when you boot your system.

I am wondering if it has something to do with the Nvidia stuff?

I see the usual, normal audio, but nothing comes out, and nothing happens when i plug headphones in either

I think it either has something to do with the Multibeast 5.5 install or the video card kexts i had to install to get my geforce working now that we have tried everything else...

Hardware/cabling/speaker/power to speaker issue? Does your audio work on Windows or Linux?

cabling is fine. No audio in fusion. hardware tested on other mac fine

But does it work in Linux/Windows. There is hardware on the motherboard too, you know... Just something to check. A possibility to eliminate.
