I am wondering if the GeForce GTX770 4GB is compatible without additional DSDT/.kext editing?

The nVidia GeForce GTX770 comes with 2GB graphics memory by default. I noticed some factories also offer GTX770 with 4GB graphics memory. For example, this EVGA GTX770 4GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130936)

Is there by any chance the 4GB will work just as seamlessly as the vanilla 2GB version?

Hello I want to make a hackintosh but because I am not an expert I feel a bit scared of the components I should buy and how I chould make every step.

It is good to know there is no need to patch and/or replace any system files to have the 4GB version working.

Sorry I din't understand your reply. Do you mean there is no problem with the GTX760 I wonder because I really don't know much about it.
Please be very specific because maybe the 770 and the 760 are very similar and therefor they work the same but I just don't have any clue.

Not certain about that particular card. I posted a question about it a while back and was told it wasnt compatible. But the link I posted was a reference to that card (dif manufacturer) that did work for someone. If you read that thread they tell the exact make/model/manufacturer of that card - the 4GB GTX 770
