After the update my GTS450 does have the random freeze. Was using 10.8.2 with the DP3 driver without any problem for many months. But luckily there is a tool to fix it.
@markart I've tried running them without FreezeFix.app and sadly I've been able to reproduce the infamous fermi freeze. I put my display to sleep (ctrl-shift-eject) and awaken it again a couple of times and eventually my system has frozen... Perhaps it wouldn't freeze with normal usage, but I didn't want to use my hackintosh in fear that it might freeze. I'd recommend using FreezeFix.app with the new drivers for now, I've got no problems whatsoever with it.
PS: I've got a GTX 560 Ti, so your experiences with 550 Ti might be different, but I doubt so.

Hey there,
I've lurked this thread for quite a while now. I had troubles getting dual screen to work and i got a freeze by switching from fullscreen to window mode. This was 10.8.2. After upgrading to 10.8.4 i had the usual Audio fixing to do, but i could't still figure out how to get wake and dual screen to work until i added these lines to my boot.plist:

it has been two days now. No crashes. Sleep/Wake and Dual Screen is working fine. I didn't have to use the crash fix.
Mainboard: Gigabyte Z77-DS3H
Graphics: GTX 550 Ti
I hope this can be of any help, even though i really don't know what i did.
Just to inform:
ML 10.8.5 installed without problems. All is working ok, and Nvidia updated their drivers and the CUDA drivers too.
