Hey everyone, I know it has been a while since I posted an update. I ordered all the parts last week and I just finished everything today. I am not going to go into details about the install because it is common knowledge on the forum. I have managed to get hdmi audio working though. I used shanterg's guide here to make it work. Ended up reinstalling about 6 times before I finally made a backup, then after the backup I managed to get it working. Go figure. Anyways here are some pics for everyone. Enjoy!

Here was my solution for supporting the hard drive bay. I put 4 screws in the top securing it to the section where the blu ray drive is, and then I put this fan controller under it to support it if needed.

Great to see there's someone else thinking the same way I do. I actually designed something really similar to yours, but then realized that Corsair no longer sells the backplanes, so I made an adaptable version of yours, but with a bit more on the features side of things. A build log will be coming soon, although I don't know if I have the time. Here's my version in case you wanted to take a look at the prelim stages. Since I have space left over in my plexi, i'm also cutting a sideways mount 5.25" bay adapter for the top and I'm making a motherboard backplate adapter.
