Hey guys - I didn't know where else to post this, so I thought I'd put it in here, if it's the wrong place, please just move the thread.

My question is: I wanna buy a new PC this fall, and as I'm mainly gonna use it for video and photo editing and I'm pretty sick of Windows, I figured I'd try OSX. I already know exactly what my build will look like (see http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-ad...bluetooth-adapter-card-reader-tv-adapter.html), but I got a problem: It's my first Hackintosh and I don't have a Mac, neither does any of my family or (as far as i know) my friends, so I can't download OSX from the Mac App Store. My plan was just buying the Snow Leopard DVD from the Apple Website and then upgrading from 10.6 to 10.9, but then I got that it won't be possible to install Snow Leopard on a Haswell system. :banghead:
I once found a 10.8 USB Thumb Drive on ebay, but I guess that falls in the category illegal copy. Can't find it anymore anyway.
Does anyobody have an idea what I could do?

Well, if family & friends have let you down  then there's local schools, libraries, colleges and universities to check for using a Mac to create an Apple account, buying MtLion or Mavericks, downloading it and UniBeast to the local Mac and creating the UniBeast USB thumb drive.

tonymacx86 is testing a way to try to use Snow Leopard on a Haswell built to get to the MAS to purchase and download OS X, but it's not ready for prime time, yet. If you can wait a couple of weeks, you can try the Snow Leopard route using tonymacx86's update guide.

Yeah well... I'm living in a very small town in the middle of nowhere, I guess it'll be something between extremely hard and completely impossible to find a Mac with public access

But yeah, I can wait a couple of weeks. Actually, I don't have enough money for my computer yet, I'll buy it in October.
