Great job! This is a really sweet mod you have put together!

I don't use a DSDT either and OS X runs just fine; I'm sorry about the voodoohda glitch, have you tried the latest version?

You can download it from here:

*Edit* I just realized Multibeast has the 2.8.4 version of VoodooHDA as well, my bad. Did you make sure the "Use SSE2" and "Enhance Stereo" were checked in the VoodooHDA panel under system preferences?

If you haven't already, I would definitely install this too, it prevents those random KPs at boot, by loading the VoodooHDA kext as soon as you log into your account…. That's if you are getting those kernel panics.

Yeah, initially i had some trouble with VooDooHDA, but ive almost resolved them completely hopefully the upcoming versions sort out the rest of the bugs, but for now i can easily live with it :)

Awesome, VoodooHDA can be a tricky kext sometimes, at least it has in my experience. Hopefully, like you said they'll be worked out eventually in future versions.
Once again, very nice build you have put together. :headbang:

Bravo Rayd! Brilliant work! I love the retro appeal of the 2x23's side by side.

Excellent.

really beautiful work!

I tried 2 times to create a home-converter adc to dvi but I've had bad results,
can I ask you to send me the material you have so I can simulate your job?
Thank you !

Hy Rayd

Again congratulations! I am impressed by the build quality of the connectors dvi-adc! Congratulations!

I tried to contact you in a private message how they want to view the forum rules
but do not wish to receive them, how can I contact you in any other way? thanks

If anyone wants the cad files for the PCB layouts or any other information i'm happy to provide it. Feel free to PM me your email and i will send them through.

Updated OP with picture of latest changes

swapped the two 120mm fans with two 135mm zantec fans
and also added a 2nd GTX 670 and am now running in SLI :D

loving this :)

Rayd,

Do you know what Bios version your board is currently using? I have used this board in the past with no problems, however I cant get my latest purchased board (with F16 bios) and similar parts to install. Thinking about flashing the bios back to an earlier version in hopes of getting this system up and running?

Wanted to thank you for the reply and help:) Got system all up and installed:) Everything works.

For install I had to use:

npci=0x3000 (changed it to 0x2000 after Multibeast to get audio working)
cpus=1

After install I used Multibeast for audio and ethernet( changing the npci=0x3000 to npci=0x2000). I then used the VoodooTSCSync.kext and was able to remove the cpus=1 flag. I also had to change the GrapphicsEnabler=yes to =No

Could not have done this without all the help and posts on this forum.

Peace
Love

Hey mate

i tried the latest F16 bios, but i was having issues with the computer not wanting to start up correctly, and kept having to reset the CMOS to get it to turn on,

since then ive went back to F9 and everything works well!

glad you have it sorted mate and happy to help :)

Love the build I have the same specs but in a huge case (that being said the six HDD and GTX670 I doubt would fit...My question is: could you please post the tools that you used to mod the case. I am mainly interested in what electric saw you used.

Thanks
