Zen, does your "About this Mac" and or hardware monitor show your computer OC past 4.2 Ghz?

Nope.

The "About this Mac" is just cosmetic. It doesn't show the real speed.

If you search the forum you'll find risky ways to change the values to show the OC. IMO, It doesn't worth the risk.

I'm not sure but If I remember, the "about this mac" gets the information from the system profile which is crucial for the system stability because it has all the parameters of your mac. If you chose the wrong system profile or mess it up, you'll probably get kernel panic.

Okay, but does your Hardware Monitor show your OC past 4.2Ghz. If I OC past 4.2 Ghz it doesn't show anything higher then that. Any suggestions?

No, it doesn't.

To show the correct clock you have to edit the mac profile.

Falaê Zen!

Thanks for the well explained tutorial!

I read somewere that some NVidia cards are supported, I just want to know how to proceed with the installation with a GTX 660 Ti.
Is it better to remove the card and install it later? Or can I install the ML with the card inserted?
I hope you can help me go thru this.

É nois!

Thanks!

You can install with the card! Install OSX, first boot after instalation with -x. Install Mulibeast with a DSDT for that board.
Thanks for the reply, buddy!
There's a post on the forum here saying that the ML 10.8.3 have full support in the build for GTX 660 Ti, no extra injection or patches needed.
Let's see what happens, I'll post the progress here.

Cheers!

Well… I have struggled with that mainboard and a 670 for 24h. In the end I could only get the 670 fully working with a DSDT for the mainboard and the (as expected) GraphicsEnabler=No setting.
