Here's all you need for 4540s audio. Just need to be applied.
int speaker, int microphone (with noise reduction), headphone, line in supported.

Yes, same change I did with the patch-hda-codecs.pl...

Things I changed in verbs. They are documented here. Hope it helps.

Hey, if someone wants to patch AppleHDA for 4x40s differently than it already was, they are more than welcome to do it...

You probably did a rollback or installed patched BT kext (unnecessarily) at some point. Like I said, your situation is not normal... do a fresh install...

What WiFi do you have on 4530s that is 150mbit/sec? I have 9285 and it is only 75mbit on OS X (see WiFi links in FAQ). I see 65mbit/sec reported in Network Utility. Average throughput (file copy w/ finder from SMB server) is 36MB/sec (really 45mbit/sec as we should adjust for two bits overhead for 4.5*10 instead of 4.5*8, but...). I have a somewhat ideal setup for WiFi as my laptop happens to live in the same room as my WAP. This is typical of WiFi -- where speeds are massively overstated compared with reality.

I think i can live with the update error problem for now... Everything working and i really don't want to start over :)

For the wifi I have a 9285 too. When I wrote the previous post I've checked the wifi status with option-click and there was PHY: 802.11n but now I have g and 54 for the transfer rate. For this the measured 5 mbit/s it's still very slow... :S And my probook is just 2 meter far from my 1043nd router. Right now i can't test the smb speed but on my windows box i have 25 mbit/s downstream. And when you say "36MB/sec" do you mean 36 mbit/s. Because if you have 36 MB/s you are very lucky! :D

I meant 36mbit/sec. Typing too fast. Will fix my post.

How is the situation about a new PBI version with the 10.8.4 support?
We already have all that we need or we are missing something yet?

Thanks!

i bet apple just blocked a few hundreds uncertified app.

If a app is Uncertified and you did not changed the default app source provider in preferences, all uncertified apps are uncertified, sooooo all uncertified apps are blocked.

Also, what about the new Battery kext?

I assume you are talking about SysPrefs->Security & Privacy->"Allow applications downloaded from" setting??
And... what does that have to do with the 10.8.4 update and this thread?

Also, what about the new Battery kext?

What new "Battery kext"??
