OS X 10.8.4 Update

Seems to be fine on my systems (GA Z77-DS3H), updated from the App store and reloaded ALC887 drivers in Multibeast.

Can those with Z77X TH, who are reporting problems, let us know what is the best way to prepare this update. Many thanks!

Updated via combo on Asus P8P67 Pro with 2500K and GTX560. Had to update Multibeast otherwise it would only boot using Unibeast. Selected latest Chimera and reinstalled LAN drivers, all is fine. I use USB audio.

I have updated via combo update. Everything Seems to be fine except then the sound. Need to re-install ALC662 driver.

Can you elaborate? I have an Asus P8P67M and 3570K and it doesn't work. Spinning wheel problem. Booting with verbose gave me an error i cannot recall at the moment, started with teh word "sanbox". I will give it a try to update and boot with unibeast and see how it goes.

It's a shame cause I have my system running perfectly now and I really like to be up to date.

I installed it from software update, works fine.

EDIT:

Messed up my sound and couldn't restore it until I figured out why.

First, the update somehow deleted my Extra/DSDT.aml.

Then, when I remade the DSDT, I didn't realize PJALM had updated his BIOS repo to *not* include audio edits.

So in MB I had to use the "WITHOUT DSDT" option, not "WITH."

All is well now.

Anyone with Sabertooth Z77 try yet? I've been lingering on 10.8.2 due to laziness. Might try to update it this round!

Updated directly from App Store and everything works as before. Didn't need to reinstall anything from Multibeast.
