Today, I have better news

A gift with a value of 10$ arrived from Shenzhen, China. :)

After about 4 hours of listening to music, the core temps are about 38°C. I think, with the planned grid in the bottom, it will be no problem to get this thing "prime stable".

During the next weeks, I will have a lot to do with the mechanical works on the case... Stay tuned.

Thanks! Some mechanical drawings are finished now and I hope, that I will find some time to manufacture a few parts next week.

No, I had a lot do in the company last week... :beachball:

I only did the following:
-Patched and installed the new 0051 BIOS
-Made a new DSDT (attached) View attachment DSDT_Generic_Fixes_IntelShutdownFix_GbE_ToledaHD4000.zip
-HDMI audio edit according to this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/86205-patcho-simple-hex-binary-patcher.html#post538616
-Replaced the WiFi card (which I had "stolen" for the Cube) with a new one

This SW changes were done on the Cube too.

The Player is running fine in the living room so far.

Those parts look like they came out of a retail package, MacTester! I actually do have access to a lathe at the father-in-laws farm, have used it a couple of times with his assistance. Its amazing what can be done.

Great work on your part as usual...

Cheers!

It would not be good, if they wouldn't, because it's my profession. I've made a mechanic training years ago. I don't work daily on the machines anymore, because my job is in the office for about 95% now. Luckily, I still have access to the machines...
