Hello everyone,

I'm going to buy a new graphic card for my hackintosh and i would like to know if the new NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti 2GB Boost will work out of the box with the update 10.8.3 ?

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop/geforce-gtx-650ti-boost

I like this card for the price and because it has One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI, One DisplayPort.

and if this card work out of the box with the CUDA update, how does the HDMI audio work ? do I need something special to do or it will work out of the box too ?

Thanks for your help and i hope you will understanding me.

Michael

Im pretty sure you need to use a dsdt to get audio from hdmi port, audio on my 660 ti doesnt works oob

when asking a question you should have a way to know your specs (mine are in my signature most people do that)
but to answer your question i don't know i use the 660 ti but if its built in to the card of the nvidia driver then yes but if its part of a special windows driver then no
i don't use hdmi and I'm not using the hdmi audio fix but this is the form for it - http://www.tonymacx86.com/276-inside-multibeast-audio-hdmi-audio.html
also its in the rules that you should to look before you ask so as not to fill the forums with redundant questions just saying

ok, so all your port on your graphic card work out of the box ?

sorry, i thought my spec on the side was enough. well i'll add on my signature too.

but this card is like a boost of previous GTX 650 Ti and this card is fully compatible natively ?

Do you suggest me a brand in particular ? Gigabyte.. EVGA... Asus... MSI... etc ?
I prefer the Gigabyte model because their two fan but i don't know anything.

Thanks for helping me and sorry for my english, i try to do my best because i'm french.

Have a great day.

I suggest the Gigabyte because of the design and cooling!

i dont know about the one on the 650 ti but the one on my gigabyte 660 ti looks flimsy and cheep but because of the card not working right i don't know about the cooling being good or not but the other cards look like they have better ones
