A disaster that 10.8.3 !!!!

audio problems all the time & have tried everything with or without dsdt, all realtek even if mine is 889, all others applehda etc... and i even tried to do all that again with some of the older MultiBeast where there was not the with or without dsdt options... nothing works. i read somewhere here that audios have been completely changed and renamed in this 10.8.3 i'm starting to believe it. anyway what for?

HUGE AUDIO PROBLEMS for sure, as my audio doesnt come out from my speakers like it used to but believe it or not from my internet server box !!!!!!!!!!
i didnt know that one had an internal speaker. i tried it first at 4:00 am on youtube to see if there was sound, you can all imagine what happened... thanks

back to 10.8.2 where everything was working
i have GA-Z68X-UD3-B3 with F8 bios

I have more or less the same board as you (
GA-Z68XP-UD3 Bios F10 ).... have you tried changing the OutPut settings in the Sound Preferences?

A disaster!

I don't followed a sure procedure
I updated from AppStore, rebooted. No Audio, so i ran Multibeast and checked all voices for my configuration (you can see it in my signature). Then rebooted. Audio works but everything is instable.
A lot of crash of app such as Text Edit, Finder and the mouse snaps!

Until 10.8.2 the build worked flawlessly except for the strange network issue that I post in another section.

I thaught to reinstall the combo update 10.8.2 because i didn't backup :( and see what happens.

Man same I had the machine working but caused freezes and crashes then kernel panic I just built a 10.8.3 USB did a clean install so far so good

to be honest no i didnt do that. but what do you mean exactly, where do i do that, do you mean physically on the rear panel of my motherboard (like i already read somewhere, but why should i change my cable entry now as before it always worked !!) or do you mean changing the output settings on a menu somewhere in Mountain lion... i suppose it is that second solution, but can you tell me how to do that exactly.

thanks for your time

olivjh,

There's a chance the Sound Preferences were changed on the new install... start at the Apple logo in the main menu.... Apple logo-->System Preferences
-->Sound (second row, last icon)-->Output tab.

Since there is sound from the internal speaker select a
different output setting...

I had a similar problem and this was the fix for my motherboard (H77-DS3H):
Run Multibeast and select System > AppleACPIPlatform Rollback 10.8.1.
It may not be the solution in your case but might be worth a try.

PLEASE HELP.
I have updated to 10.8.3 and now when i switch it on it goes to a black screen nothing there. I have tried -x, GraphicsEnabler=No and yes, PCIRootUID=0 and 1 also -x GraphicsEnabler=No.
I did manage to go through unibeast and used multibeast but now can not load through that.
My System is ASUS p7p550 le motherboard, ocz vetex 64gb ssd, 8GB ram, ASUS GT610 2gb Graphicscard.
I have also tried my spare Graphics card

Success upgrading from 10.8.2 -> 10.8.3!
