I have Osx installed & working fine with Unibeast on a single HDD. I want to get another HHD and install Win7 on it so i can dualboot.

How sould i proceed with this?

Unplug my OSX HHD... Plug the empty disk and install Win7 Normally.... then unplug Windows HDD and plug in in slave after my OSX Drive... Set my boot to the OSX drive in the BIOS?

If somebody know how to do this properly easily i would appreciated. Thx

Olivier

That's pretty much it, except there is no such thing as a 'slave' in SATA interface.
Make sure you install Windows in non-UEFI mode.
After you're done, Chimera should see your Win7 partition(s). Boot 'System Reserved' if it exists or the main Win7 partition if it doesn't (it depends on how you prefer to install Win7).

Thx a lot for the info! How do i make sure i install it in non-UEFI mode? Its in the installation option?

Hit the function key during the BIOS POST that allows you to select a device to boot from.
You will see your Win DVD twice - one of the entries says EFI or UEFI in front of it. Select the one without the EFI.

If your windows drive-to-be is under 2Tb and you pre-format it with OS X disk utility MBR partition tables, MSDOS FAT, you don't have to worry about it. The Win7 installer only defaults to UEFI on large volumes that are unformatted.

Pre-formatting the drive also makes windows install without creating the System Reserved partition.

Thx a lot.

So if my HDD is 1T, i format it with OSX to MS-DOS FAT with MBR(?) Partition Tables. And i install. That's it.

Thx a lot for your help guys!
