Success! Thank you RehabMan!

Here's what I did, which may come in handy if one has an Intel DH67BL with Ivy Bridge/HD 4000:

Followed RehabMan's directions: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...i7-2600k-hd3000-ml-10-8-2-a-2.html#post520519

which entails...

Installing with UniBeast (no special instructions).
Then downloading Mac iASl, creating a DSDT patched with RehabMan's dh67gd.txt patch but not dh67gd_igpu.txt. (Save to desktop)
Using MaciASL to generate SSDT.aml. (Save to desktop)
Running MultiBeast and installing ALC892 (with DSDT), FakeSMC, AppleIntelE1000e, Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, Chimera, Mac mini 5,1
Dragging dsdt, ssdt, and org.chameleon.Boot.plist to /Extra

In addition...
I added "
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32@60</string>
" to org.chameleon.Boot.plist to fix graphics distortion issue.
and I installed the latest Chimera to fix the iMessage issue.

but not...
With my configuration I found no need to convert GPT to MBR or use Ubuntu for anything. Its a good help for anyone who can't boot GPT but I found no need to... could save one some time.

Sleep and everything else now works!

Just a quick question, is there any reason why after these patches, my internal SATA disks now show up as external?? Also, what in the DSDT caused a new Apple logo (now the 3D gradient version) to show on boot? These are minor cosmetic issues, but I'm curious.

This is 10.8.2 for future reference, and no special BIOS settings other than enabling EFI boot and AHCI.

Thank you!!

I'm using Intel's latest,
BLH6710H.86A. It was released on 12/4/12.

Maybe this was in the revision? Doesn't mention anything in the release notes.

Turn off hotplug in BIOS SATA configuration for your SATA ports connected to internal drives. Anything hotplug shows as ejectable...

That is just org.chameleon.Boot.plist setting. I think you can have the normal logo w/ Legacy Logo=Yes (you can use Chameleon Wizard).

Hey... glad you got it working.

That 12/4/12 is 0160 which is what I'm using too...

I've also got another machine that has DH67CF... maybe I'll play around with it and see if it has same issue w/ GPT booting as my DH67GD. I guess you were lucky because I know of others that ran into the same issue...

Just as an update, I was able to replicate your GPT boot issue. I am unable to boot GPT when I have UEFI boot disabled. Thus, I keep UEFI enabled in the DH67BL settings.

However, with UEFI enabled, Windows will not work. To fix this, all I did was install OS X first, create a Windows (GPT) partition, and then boot the windows install media. The first time I did this, the Windows installer would not let me proceed. I fixed this by being sure to choose "P0:__[name of disc drive]___" and not "UEFI:___[name of disc drive]____" in the boot menu of the DH67BL. Windows installed just fine on the GPT formatted drive.

I then had to insert my UniBeast drive to boot OS X and to reinstall Chimera (Windows will erase the chimera bootloader during its install, making Windows the only bootable partition).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. When I have a need to re-install, I'll check it out. That makes sense because I think UEFI is default off and even if not, I generally turn off things I'm not using.

Yes, you definitely don't want to install Windows in UEFI mode... FYI: Technically, Windows is not installed on a GPT drive -- it is installed MBR -- the drive is an MBR/GPT hybrid. Windows sees only the MBR side. This is important as you must remember not to edit the partition tables on that drive in Windows as it will edit only the MBR side and the GPT/MBR hybrid will be left out of sync (which is very very bad).

I then had to insert my UniBeast drive to boot OS X and to reinstall Chimera (Windows will erase the chimera bootloader during its install, making Windows the only bootable partition).

Hope that helps.

That's awesome... thanks for the update.

Hi! Please help! I have Intel DH67BL mobo with latest bios upadate, and boot manager haven't see my EFI partition(fat32, 300mb) on my HDD. I only can run Clover from USB UEFI and then mac os from this HDD. How can I run clover from HDD partition?

Did you enable UEFI booting? Did you add a UEFI boot entry for Clover? (can use efibootmgr in Linux).

UEFI booting is enabled. I created fat32 partition via Paragon and then install clover via Clover_v2.3k_r3330.pkg..
