Yes, I did. Everything seems O.K. Sounddriver has to be reinstalled from Multibeast.

Me too, just did 2 minutes ago. Installed update from Update Manager and after reboot reinstalled Sound Driver with Multibeast 5.2.1. Everything working.

I installed the Combo update. After the reboot I used Multibeast to install the audio driver again. After that my hackintosh didn´t boot anymore. But I didn´t panic because the community here is sooo great I searched 5min and found the solution here http://www.tonymacx86.com/os-x-updates/92678-10-8-3-can-no-longer-boot.html#post568405

You know that VPN and Chimera are unrelated. VPN is network only while Chimera is a bootloader. Did you change anything else?

Yes, you can revert to the older Chimera by running MultiBeast and just choosing Chimera in the Drivers & Bootloaders > Bootloarder > Chimera v1.11.1.

Report back your results. TIA.

Turns out it was actually Avast! Free Antivirus running that was causing my system to crash when connected to VPN - not Chimera after all! Roll on Chimera 2.0.1!

Audio + Mute: Working OOTB with the Chimera Bootloader ONLY. (Chameleon and Enoch will fail to load many devices)
USB3 (Working with Drivers) - Using either/or/both 3.0 Drivers gives full functionality

Are you saying you managed to get mute working OOTB just using Chimera and nothing else special/config changes or ??? Because I have never realised how often I use mute on my keyboard until now...

Also - I tested a USB 3 dock a week ago and it seemed to work (and I think was identified correctly as USB3) - did you *need* to use extra drivers for it? My drive seems faster, but I am not positive it is usb3 speeds...

10.8.3 Update

1) Run Disk Utility, Repair Permission
2) Download 10.8.3 Combo Updater and Install it, do not reboot
3) Run Multibeast 5.2.1 to reinstall the sound driver.
4) Reboot
5) Repair permission again just in case. Done.

+1 Moarfish. That's the best procedure for updating your system when Apple comes out with a new system update.
