Try making your own DSDT. I haven't had the issue since I did that.
Great tip, thanks. Using Toleda's easy guide here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/84936-easy-guide-ml-hdmi-audio-hd4000-7-series-mb.html (and the very nice MaciASL) I was able to extract my DSDT and patch it to have HDMI audio. Wake up issue is gone. Well, at least for now
By the way, Toleda: I have used your guide to manually patch my other system (X58A-UD3R) to enable encoded audio out with success, and this new easy guide makes it very easy to get this working on newer boards. Thanks for providing these instructions.
