Has anyone got sleep working with this card? Everything works perfectly except sleep, and I reeeeeaaaallly want sleep to work. Or is sleep more related to the motherboard? When I click sleep, the monitors go to sleep but the tower is still running the lights and fans and I can't wake with keyboard/mouse and have to do a hard reboot.

I've found a very simple way to install these drivers on a "Mac Mini 5.1" system (or iMac, but has been tested with Macmini).

1. download the drivers from: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-304.00.05f02-driver.html

2. Mount "Retail-304.00.05f02-macosx.dmg"

3. Drag "304.00.05f02 Web Release" to the desktop

4. Right Click "304.00.05f02 Web Release" and "get info"

5. make sure you have read/write access and close info window

6. Right Click "304.00.05f02 Web Release" again and "Show Package Contents"

7. Go to Contents > "Distribution.dist" and open with "Text Edit"

8. Find the Line var system_models = ["MacPro3,1", "MacPro4,1", "MacPro5,1"];
and replace it with var system_models = ["iMac12,1", "MacMini4,1", "MacPro3,1"];
this should work for iMac 12,1 MacMini4,1 and MacPro3,1
9. Save, Exit, Install Package

You sir are a great contributor! This worked a treat! After wading through pages of post this is the one I decided to follow and it absolutely worked. Thank you for saving me hours of headache! I am using the iMac 12,2 definition.

I used this tutorial to enable GPU Cuda In CS6: http://youtu.be/N8nUuHzxv-U

Merry Christmas!

With 14.8G pixel spec the 650 TI will do 1080P resolution at 7,136 frames per sec or 120 frames per sec with 30 layers. Of course, you will never hit spec, but it's still a very nice board for 1080P. In another data point; Anandtek measured the HD 4000 ROPs about the same as the GT 520 or about 1/9 the 650 Ti. Yes there will always be better, but the 650 Ti does seem to hit a sweet spot for my use.

Finally i getting fully working my gigabyte 650ti, thanks Bimmer325Ci !!!
I place new nvidia drivers on my boot flash drive, boot system 10.8 on this videokard (system dont recodnize it, but working), delete AppleTyMCEDriver.kext,
make MacPro 5.1 and update to 10.8.2, download and install latest nvidia driver.
Reboot whith grafics enabler = no, install cuda driver.
Its metod for clin install MB GA Z77X - UD5H F14.

Hi, thanks to everybody's help (specifically couputergiantz on page 4) I got my 650 ti enabled after giving up screwing around with the HD4000. I got the 650 ti enabled with a 3,1 mac pro definition. I do have a question/problem that I wonder if anyone else is experiencing... After running Luxmark 2.0 my 650ti, it will no longer throttle the gpu core for power management. My card is locked at 928mhz until I restart the computer. Throttling works perfectly fine until running luxmark, is anyone else experiencing the problem? Is it a glitch with the Opencl driver or possible luxmark itself? Thanks

I'm looking at getting a GTX 650ti, but I want to make sure it doesn't have any weird problems. I read the whole thread and it seems as if there have only been a few problems. I might just get this card! Does the manufacture matter?

I've personally had no problems with it other then some throttling glitches as stated in my previous comment. Just be sure to delete the AppleTYMCEDriver.kext in your S/L/E or else you get kernel panics, and install the CUDA and NVIDIA Drivers and restart. Also be sure to get the edition with the highest core clock, because you cant over-clock the card in OSX. I would get the 1GB version and save your money, your never going to need that 2G anyways.

Thanks! Could you link me to the one you're talking about?
