Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite U400-F23 that i bought back in 2009, it has a intel pentium processor (T4200) and 2gb of RAM and 250GB harddrive, i thought it would be a great Hackintosh. BUT i use iBoot to boot with and when swapping to my retail Snow Leopard it dont seem to find it when i press F5... so i thought, well what the hell, i get Mountain Lion and i have that now on a bootable USB Flash. I booted with the iBoot CD and tok it out from the CD drive and connected my USB Flashdrive to on of the USB ports and press F5... nothing happens.

My Bios is version: V3.80

Sometimes i get an error when trying with a cracked Snow Leopard CD that i have laying around, someting with EBIOS Read Error...

Could someone please help me with this.. i am totaly new with hackintosh (Exept from a Asus EEBox B202 that i had 10.4 on several years ago)

What should i do.. ?

I think the problem is your computer is kind of old. And I don't think it meets the minimum req. for ML... Most people are installing ML on at least Sandy Bridge Core i-series, HD3000, with at least 4GB RAM...

Ok.. i see.. so what about Snow Leopard.. ?

Yeah your computer specs are too outdated. You can try snow leopard it wouldn't hurt. It's easier to get that running than mountain lion.
