What DSDT did you use? I do not see one for this board. Bob

Dear PikardX.

I am using the GA-P35-DS4 since Snow Leopard. Currently Lion 10.7.3 is installed. I am wondering if you could possibly pass your installed kexts and all information which is required to get sleep running.
My sleep was never working, just the monitor and the hard disks go off, afterwards the system has to be rebooted 8-(

Please share what ever you think is possible.

Thanks from Austria

+1 to that, sharing is caring!

I'm still using and enjoying two GA-EP35-DS4s and like to try others DSDT.aml files. I attach the one I'm currently using which is pretty good except slight issue with sleep not going fully OFF, including my Extra/Extensions folder org.chameleon.plist and smbios.plist for good measure.
The extra kexts give full readouts through 'HW Monitor' and 'iStat Menus 3'. Using Nvidia graphics card (Chipset Models - GeForce 8800 GT & 9800 GT) so be aware of NVClockX.kext in extra!

Credit to 'scottb23' for the DSDT.aml Here is his thread I found the file on...

Hope it helps someone. Thanks Scott!!

Does anyone know if the DSDT posted on this thread will also work for a GA-P35-DS4 (his was EP35)???

Does anyone know what is the difference between P35 and EP35? Are the DSDT's compatible with each other. I'm trying to install Snow Leopard, but hoping that much of the mobo specific information is relatively the same as what you had to go through here.

From what I can see these boards are almost the same - except in one firewire connection and one is an Energy saver rating.

I would suggest you look at the GA support site for these two boards and see if the BIOS files have the same name -

IF that is so then yes you could use the DSDT

But you could also edit the DSDT file on your system that is live w OSX SL - and then correct any errors listed in the DSDT and then save and use that one. Which would be suited for your motherboard CPU and video.

You may need to do the video patch for the DSDT which is listed in the link I provided about how to create your own DSDT file by samisnake.
