I find info about my problem in this post http://www.tonymacx86.com/80-native-support-mountain-lion-ivy-bridge-hd-4000-geforce-6xx.html it says that Mountain Lion has native support of hd 4000 but for full support needed to unplug and replug DVI cable. This is really helps :) After booting I see pictures like in my previous post but after unplug and replug DVI cable everything is going ok and I can see a normal desktop with native resolution.

So the next question is how to solve this problem to not always unplug and replug DVI cable? The answer is:

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>

It's really helps!!! Thx a lot! I guess this information should to be added to the firsts page.

Thanks this just solved my indentical issue for yours. Thanks for taking the time to post the screen shot of your corrupted display image. I'm now working 100% again. no idea why this started after 100 boots but it did and its now fixed. Hackinstosh #2 is now perfect!

I have bought and mount the next configuration

I3 3225
Corsair DDR3 8GB
GA-B75M-D3H

I have the next problem, for install Mountain Lion and after for running it I have to type always at booting -x
It only starts running if the usb booteable is in and If you type -x

If you don´t do this the system restart.

Now I´m testing the system, I can´t see any video and the pages ads are flashing all the time, I think that is a problem of the graphic card.

Can I solve this problem?

Thanks

Are you using HD4000 or a PCI-E Graphic Card?

I´m using the HD4000 in the information of the PC appears Intel HD4000 0MB
I have changed in BIOS the graphic MB in 32,64,96 but always appear Intel HD4000 0MB

I have test more and the sound doesn´t work I use Multibeast 5.2.0

I did the same build as you using the 3225 processor and had the same "flickering" issue. I suspect its an issue with OSX graphics acceleration and the HD4000 processor. I tried many things and could not resolve the issue. I installed a graphics card to fix the issue.

I was wondering is anyone updated to 10.8.2 and get the dreaded error -70012 while trying to play a DVD movie? If so how did you go about to fix it?
Thank you.

Anybody out there with this build happen to get imessage working with the clover fix? I cant get my system to even boot with clover. I get stuck booting to the apple logo and nothing but spinning. Any ideas how I can get this to boot with clover so I can apply the fix then go back to booting with Unibeast (chameleon). I am currently booting using the UNIBEAST intall usb?

I want to give an update, I got the DVD player to work properly by changing the DVDframework file. I changed all indications of "Internal" to "External". As posted on
Cnet.com (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-20070591-263.html).

Modify the DVDPlayback framework that DVD Player uses, so that it will recognize your external drive as a valid DVD playback device. Keep in mind that if you do this the system may no longer recognize the internal drive, so I only recommend it for systems where the internal drive no longer works and your only option is to use the external player.

Download a hex editor that has text-searching capabilities (0xED is a useful one).

Go to the folder /System/Library/Frameworks/ and back up the file "DVDPlayback.framework." If you have a regular Time Machine backup of the system that should suffice, or you can copy the file to your desktop.

Open 0xED or your preferred hex editor and use it to open the following file:

/System/Library/Frameworks/DVDPlayback.framework/Versions/A

Using the editor's searching options, search for the text "Internal" and replace all occurrences of it (there should be four) with the text "External" and save the file. If you cannot edit the text with your program, then locate the hex code for the word "Internal" (which is "496E7465726E616C") and replace it with the hex code for the word "External" (which is "45787465726E616C").

Close the file once saved, and then run a permissions fix on the boot drive using Disk Utility. Then restart the system and you should now be able to play DVDs off the external drive using DVD Player.
