I recently built my first Mountain Lion hackintosh and i got everything working except for audio. Ive tried everything to get audio to work, but i have not been successful. I currently have my ML on a seperate SSD and i save my files onto a hard drive. This hard drive is split into 2 partitions, both 500 gb. I would like to know of a way to install windows ( From a disk ) onto this 500gb partition. I am not looking for any iboot oor anything like that due to my unsuccessful past. Got any ideas on how to do this.

Audio depends on your hardware. You might make a separate post about that in the appropriate forum.

But for installing Windows... Install Chimera to your SSD, and set BIOS to boot from the SSD. Install Windows on your second disk (you might temporarily change BIOS settings to make the Windows HDD the default boot device), making sure you install it in BIOS mode (disable UEFI if your motherboard supports it). After installing Windows, you'll be able to choose Windows or ML from Chimera.

If that doesn't work you will want to make sure you have Chimera's boot0md (not boot0) installed. You can do that manually in Terminal:
Code:
# assuming /dev/rdisk0 corresponds to your SSD...
sudo /usr/sbin/fdisk440 -f /usr/standalone/i386/boot0md -u -y /dev/rdisk0

Or (I've never tried it), you can use Chameleon Wizard.

Do i need to erase the ssd first and by disk do you mean a disk ( Like a cd or dvd )?

Can i just DL Chimera from Multibeast?

Not sure why you would erase the SSD... It has your ML install on it, right? Just make sure you have the boot loader there and BIOS is set to boot from it.

And, yes you can use Chimera from Multibeast, if you haven't already.

And by disk, we are talking about the hard disk you're going to put Windows on. When referring to CDs or DVDs we generally use 'disc'
