Very strange, I got them in both directories now, but they do not appear. But never mind, the default 4x30s profile does not look that bad (at least for my amateur eyes), I was just curious if the other profiles would look better.

Why not use the built-in calibration tool to calibrate your display, rather than using presets? Does it not work on aftermarket screens in Mac?

Because you have to use your eyes to perform the calibration, and my eyes at least are really good at calibrating displays to look like a much ****tier version of the preset.

It probably works for some people, but it is pretty dependent on their wetware.

That happens when there is a permission problem with the profiles, or the folders they're in. If you run Repair Permissions from disk utility, it should resolve any problems and they'll show up as they should.

Seriously, it is worth at much effort. I don't care about color accuracy at all really, the point of these profiles for me is that they make the display itself just LOOK a lot nicer. Makes my computing experience that much more pleasing all day every day =).

It's totally possible you might prefer the preset though, but for my tastes, I really like this screen much more with the profiles I uploaded.

Mine is a AUO323E display unit. The resolution is 1600x900.

I am unable to get the colors like I get in windows.

I have tried differenet color profiles.
