Have you tested the HDMI port with audio - does it work without DSDT?
Cheers

1. Install Mountain Lion to USB using UniBeast
2. Format hard drive to Mac OS Journal (Extended) and label partition Macintosh HD
3. Boot from USB drive & install Mountain Lion to Macintosh HD
4. Ethernet works immediately, but monitor stuck at 1028x764.
1. 1st monitor - Dell 22”
1. plugged into DVI
2. works, but at 1028x764
3. Display does not recognize 2 monitors are plugged in
2. 2nd monitor - Samsung SyncMaster 170MP
1. plugged into VGA
2. works as a mirror at 1028x764
5. Download Multibeast
6. Installed UserDSDT for my mobo - DON’T DO THIS.
1. it would not boot off the hard drive nor the USB stick
2. stuck at white apple logo screen
7. Used USB stick and launched Mountain Lion Installer
8. Used the Utilities → Disk Utility to reformat hard drive (same as above)
9. Reinstalled Mountain Lion
10. Ran Multibeast but only installed EasyBeast
11. Rebooted
12. Boots up and has good resolution on 1st monitor
1. 2nd monitor not found nor displaying any image
1. it actually froze on the white logo apple screen with the windmill graphic that displays while booting up
13. Installed the Realtek Audio driver from Multibeast
1. Drivers & Bootloaders → Kexts & Enablers → Audio → Realtek ALC8xx → Unified Device Injector → ALC8xxHDA
2. Rebooted
14. Ethernet is no more (Safri reports You are not connected to the Internet)
1. Looks like I should have installed the Apple Non-DSDT HDA Enabler instead
2. System Utilities → Sound → Output = No output devices found
15. Installed the HDA Rollback in hopes it will un**** what I’ve ****ed up
1. did not do anything - no ethernet and sound output still zilch
16. Installed hnak's AppleIntel Ethernet option
1. WORKS!! Ethernet is back
2. still no sound
17. Installed Non-DSDT HDAEnabler: ALC892 in hopes of getting the audio to work again
1. WORKS!! Sound is back
18. somebody else installed FakeSMC Motherboard Plugin -- Maybe not necessary.
1. http://www.tonymacx86.com/lion-desktop-support/43300-multibeast-asus-p8z68-v-pro.html
2. have not done this yet
19. Looking to check if bluetooth is enabled. How do I do this?

[h=2]Install Asus GTX 650ti Graphics Card[/h]

1. Need to install NVidia drivers for the 660ti, according to http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-advice/74977-gtx-650-compatibility-mountain-lion-10-8-2-hackintosh-2.html
1. Can’t do this using the MacBook Pro machine identifier that I am using now.
2. These drivers require Mac Pro 5,1, so I tried the following using MultiBeast at the same time and got a Kernel Panic
1. Change machine identifier to Mac Pro 5,1
2. Set graphicsenabler=no
3. Had to clone hard drive from backup to attempt again. HOW DO YOU GET PAST A KERNEL ERROR?????
3. After cloning, just going to set the machine identifier to Mac Pro 5,1 to install nvidia drivers.
1. Removed com.apple.driver.AppleTyMCEDriver from S/L/E (system/library/extensions) from the hard drive OSX is installed on
2. I set the machine identity to Mac Pro 5,1
3. Rebooted.
4. SUCCESS! I think that removing the com.apple.driver.AppleTyMCEDriver from S/L/E is a must prior to changing the machine identity or else Kernel Panics are the norm.
5. Did a reboot after it came up just to be sure and it rebooted no problem.
4. Installed NVidia Drivers for Mac
1. Success! Asked to reboot on completion and everything rebooted fine.
5. Installed NVidia CUDA drivers for MAc
1. Success! Did not require a reboot, but did one anyway to make sure things were good. Everything was fine.
6. Set graphicsenabled=no
1. Success! Machine rebooted and started into OSX with no problems. The resolution was low (800x600 or 1024x768).
2. Shutdown the computer to install the GTX 650ti
7. Installed the graphics card.
1. Success!
8. Resolution issue - My ASUS PB278 monitor was automatically set to 1080i which resulted in flickering. Changed it to 1080p and flickering stopped.
1. HOWEVER this monitor supports 2560x1440 and it is not available on the Display Preferences. How do I set it to a higher resolution?
2. I was using the HDMI 1.4a cable but it seems that it isn’t good enough for a hackintosh. Switched it out to a DVI-D cable and all is well! The Hackintosh automatically switched resolution to 2560x1440. Looks awesome!!

Hi all,
Bought this card as part of my first hackintosh.
Built up the computer without it to get things up and running. Then installed the card cause I thought it worked OOB. Got KPs!
Took it off, booted using HD4000, tried deleting the AppleTyMCEDriver from S/L/E but that didn't work either.
I then downloaded the drivers from NVIDIA, installed them, edited my chameleon plist to set GraphicsEnabler=No, rebooted and computer now recognizes the card!

Thanks for all the help guys!

Matt

Were you running 10.8.2 from scratch or from an update? I Have a GTX 650 (non TI) in 10.8.0 and my system does not recognize it as a GTX 650 just some nVidia Card. I am trying to find a method that will for sure get me updated to 10.8.2 and get my GTX 650 some drivers :problem:.
Thanks!

Sorry to dig this thread up, but I'm thinking of getting the EVGA GTX650 non-Ti. Has anyone got ML to recognize this card as GTX 650 properly?

I have got the Evga GTX 650 ( not the Ti version)
The card works on on 10.8.2,
however when checking the system card Shows as " Graphics NVIDIA D14P1-30 1024 MB "

solution ;
to fix it i downloaded this file

http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-304.00.05f02-driver.html

Now by Card shows this " NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 1024 MB "
this car is Awsom.

sorry for my English ...

Same experience here, except Gigabyte GTX 650 2GB. Out of box worked (disabled graphics injector). Card showed as generic name, installed the drivers you cited, card now shows as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2048 MB.
