It is the same steps on the first post. You just have to skip the software update step if you got 10.8.2 Unibeast directly.

Thanks.

I went to MC and bought the 3570K (intended) but got another MB - the Z77-DS3H instead since it was on sale for less than the B75M. Since i was going to get the K series anyway, i thought getting the Z series would benefit if i ever want to overclock.

Will assemble and update everyone later.

So Moarfish any idea how I can get my system to boot using UEFI? Or why it won't at the moment?

Would really appreciate any ideas you have!

Why do you want to boot UEFI if its working on the p0: disk name ?

thnx 4 the quick reply :D

i tried all usb ports and no luck ... even i tried ps2 kexts to fix it and still no luck and the bios is up to date

the keyboard is working fine , just the mouse ( and i check if the mouse is ok ... it worked in bios and in ubuntu 12.10 live )

So any idea to fix this lame problem :S ???

Edit : After looking up for a solution , most people recommend to check legacy support while creating the usb in unibeast , but i don't have access to osx ( my friend created the usb fro me )

so can any ony share the legacy support kext ?

I did not click legacy support when I create my Unibeast USB.
I am using Apple Mighty Mouse

No idea at the moment. Did you make sure you install ML using GUID parition map?

Should be working perfectly following Tonymac's guide

Is there a DSDT for this board anywhere or a DSDT patch? I'd like to get HDMI audio but I don't know how to fix my own DSDT. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I got it all working. Had to do it the hard way but all is well. Had to uninstall the audio kexts from the original multi beast install and then do the DSDT version install with multibeast. I dumped the DSDT and made it compile correctly and applied what error fixes I could. I also applied the RTC fix which means that kext in extra can be removed. Thanks to Toleda and Mald0n for their work in DSDT and audio. That's how I figured it out. Took a little bit of know how to interpret the tutorial but all is well now. I've got a fully working hacky now. Thanks Moarfish for your post.

DSDT is attached to this post. My bios was F7.

Jamesah,

What are your system specs exactly. Someone will most likely need the same MB, processor...etc... as yours to use your DSDT?

Please Moarfish, could you have a look at my MultiBeast config, here : http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...8-correct-multibeast-choices-ga-b75m-d3h.html

I am afraid of missing something.
Yesterday, I could not reboot and decided to reinstall all. (since my new build was running for less than 24h, it was not big deal.)
Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your help Moarfish!
My Mac Midi is up and running. It was a problem with the USB drive, which is dead. I got another one to boot and run MultiBeast.

First let me say, thanks Moarfish for the awesome guide. I have the same setup as you and it work perfectly.

I'm using a GTS450 which also works flawlessly.

The problem i face now, is when i add my second graphics card. It's a nVidia Quadro nvs 285, Mountain Lion detects both cards, however my third monitor does not work and my graphics on the other two monitors are sluggish and very choppy as if the kexts have not loaded.

Below are screens of the two cards:

When the second card is added, i also have to boot into safe mode.

Any ideas on how i can get around this issue?
I've installed nVidia DP3 kexts, but this has not helped.

Thanks,
Scab

I've followed your guide using a GA B75M D3V, i3 3225 Ivy bridge, OCZ vertex 2 120gb, 8GB Corsair XMS DDR3, Asus GTS450 and a apple mini pci-e wireless card in a pcix1 adapter in a generic mATX case with 500w power supply and sony optiarc dvd writer

used unibeast with ML 10.8.2 then your multibeast guide

Ga b75m d3v is Rev1.1 and bios F11 (was f6 from factory)

only problem is the no mute on audio and some capacitor hiss through speakers (this was present in win8 also so may be a board problem - rather than software)

only been running a few hrs, so will play and test further

No mute in Audio is normal. I still cannot find a solution for it at the moment and I have mention on the post. I do not have capacitor hiss for speakers.
