Getting 650ti working

Can some point me in the direction where i can find out how to get the 650 ti working. I have searched and found some information about it. But not too much. Anything that would help would be great.

Yeah I have a 650TI Gigabyte 2gb video ram edition.

The big thing for me was drivers from Nvidia, see link below.

First I used internal HD 4000 graphics to set system up. You may need to take the 650ti fully out of the machine before setting up, whenever I left it installed it would freeze me at Apple boot screen. After the steps below, all was good!

I'm not 100 percent certain about what's really needed from steps 3 and 4, but I do know they made my system work and it seems solid.

1)Make sure to include GraphicsEnabler=No in Multibeast when installing, or use type this in at boot when using the Nvidia.

2)Installed Nvidia drivers for 660 Ti from http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-...02-driver.html
(note: there are BOTH graphics drivers and Cuda drivers available for OS X. Some people have gotten mixed up thinking only Cuda drivers were available. Cuda are available at another link on their page.)

3)Installed AppleACPIPlatform.kext for ML, from this link 10.8.2 problem

4)Installed FakeSMC and NullCpuPowerManagement kexts from this linkhttp://www.insanelymac.com/forum/top...install-guide/
(not sure if Null... was needed, but did it anyway)

Shut down. Inserted GTX 650 Ti, made sure it was enabled in BIOS (PEG). And booted to a glorious full res desktop with graphics acceleration.

All you need is the NVidia drivers. I did a fresh install with the card working by adding the NVidia drivers to Unibeast, in the S/L/E folder. You will need to "show all files" to see the folders. Make sure you boot with GraphicsEnabler=No.

Can you give a step by step procedure on how to do that. I have never added files to a unibeast install. My last card was a 5770 before it died. Which was an OOB.

Ok, but I'm not very good at writing guides, so hopefully you can follow along. You will only need this until 10.8.3 comes out, the drivers should be included then. First, you will need the 2 programs i attached and the NVidia Drivers, found here:

Install the 2 programs.

Right click on the NVidia Drivers .dmg, open with Pacifist
In Pacifist, click on "Contents of webDriverPayload_jLhsf.pkg" then click "Extract to" I put mine in a folder called NVidia on my desktop.
Run "ShowAllFiles" click Show.
Open the Unibeast USB in finder. You should see more files and folders now.
Open the folder System, then Library, then Extensions. You will need to delete the NVidia drivers in this folder, delete the following: NVDAGF100Hal.kext, NVDAGK100Hal.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext, NVDAResman.kext
Open your folder with the new NVidia .kexts in it, copy them to the S/L/E folder. Now make sure you can see the Extensions folder, it will make the next step easier.
Open Terminal, type "sudo-s" enter
enter your password
type "sudo chmod -R 755" press the space bar once, to leave a space after 755, now, drag the "Extensions folder" onto Terminal, it should type the path for you. press enter.
type "sudo chown -R root:wheel" press the space bar once, to leave a space after wheel, now, drag the "Extensions folder" onto Terminal, it should type the path for you. press enter.
type "sudo touch" press the space bar once, to leave a space after touch, now, drag the "Extensions folder" onto Terminal, it should type the path for you. press enter.
type "exit"
type "exit"
close terminal
Open "ShowAllFiles" click Hide.

Now boot with your Unibeast install with the New NVidia drivers. Remember to boot with "GraphicsEnabler=No" and to install the NVidia drivers after you run Multibeast. Just use the NVidia installer. Reboot your computer, and you should be good to go!!!

I also use your method to install kexts to the USB. Problem I have now is when I try to install until about the bar is half way done, then the screen turns white. (There is a tiny little square about 1cm x 1cm that is not white.

I am booting with flags:

PCIRoorUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=no npci=0x2000 -v

Ok, can you boot with just, GraphicEnabler=No ? If not, try -x GraphicsEnabler=No. Also, move the mouse every couple of minutes to keep the display from going to sleep during the install.
