Thanks for the mention! Great work so far! I especially like the way you mapped out the cutting of the bottom plate. You gave priority to the location for the I/O shield, rather than the mobo. I like it! Watching closely!

Today, I made some progress too:

The AC adapter arrived from California and the "ultra slim" 25cm long SATA cables from the UK

Marking the drill position for the the M3 standoffs in the CPU area with a self made 4mm center tip

Two of the M3 threads would have been too close to the edge of the heat sink. So I had to mount a strut. The problem was a potential collision with the locking flap and the top grid

Milling the copper blocks for an exactly planar surface - this will be important for a good heat transport!

It is hard to tell from the angle in that photo but how thick is the total copper heat block going to be? Looks like you have almost enough offset there to run a full Mini-ITX board if you wanted.

I've had terrible luck with SATA cables that have the clip on the connector and SSDs, they seem to just fall out because there's nothing for the clip to hook on to while clipless designs seem to grip on their own much better. How do your new short cables fare with your SSD's SATA connection?

Yes, I will use it.

At this time, I'm a bit in trouble. Could please anyone, who has this MOBO already up and runnig post the following:
  • BIOS Settings (have 044)
  • System definition
  • Screenshot of Multibeast settings

Here are some more pics, more later.

The preassembled heat sink with copper block (thickness 14.4mm, according to the MOBO's position). The MOBO has to be bended about 0.3mm, if the nuts in the CPU zone are fastened.
