New ML build: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H ALC887 not working

Just built a new machine for photo editing:
CPU: i5 3570K
MB: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
GPU: EVGA GT640 2GB DDR3
RAM: 3GB (1x3) DDR3 1333
HD: OCZ Vertex3 120GB
Case: Corsair Carbide 300R
Monitor: Viewsonic VX2208wm

Audio: 3 rear ports + 2 front ports (headphone/mic)

The ML install from the Unibeast 1.5.3 USB stick works flawlessly. GT640 is recognized and full 1920x1080 resolution is configured on my monitor. Audio doesn't work, so I used several configurations from the forums for this MB, and when I reboot, I get the WSOD. Now I have to reinstall OS X. I've had to do this several times.

I'm a noobie to this, so I'm not sure where to go next.

Ok, update:
Audio works after original 10.8 install. After applying the 10.8.2 update from Software Update, audio is dead. System preferences says no audio output device.

Software Update replaces the installed AppleHDA.kext with the latest native kext. A back up of S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext before an update is recommended. You must install audio after each update.

Run MultiBeast 5.1.2 - Select/Drivers & Bootloaders/Drivers/Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/Without DSDT/ALC887 (current).

Update: Ok, this is where I get screwed: EasyBeast.

This is supposed to allow me to boot directly into the OSX hard drive right? I went through everything, and when I finally decided to install EasyBeast is when my system crapped out. Stuck at the WSOD now. Any way to recover from this without having to do a full reinstall?

Boot off the UniBeast Installer and select the system you are having the problem.
