Much better.

Edit dsdt/HDEF/layout-id to 0x03, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
Run MultiBeast 5.1.1 - Select/Drivers & Bootloaders/Drivers/Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/With DSDT/ALC892

The attached IOReg does not show working HDMI audio, it shows the first HDMI connector connected to a DP connector in the framebuffer.

To get the first HDMI connector to work:
1. Edit AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri binary

native - 0166000A framebuffer
0A 00 66 01 00 02 03 02 00 00 00 02
00 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 10 07 00 00
10 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 01 00 00
03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 01 00 00
04 06 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 40 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00

for port 0x5 -dp >hdmi
find
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 01 00 00
replace
02 05 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00

2. See Procedure 10. 2x HD3000/HD4000 HDMI Audio, Customizing the Mountain Lion Optimized AppleHDA.

For SPDIF DD/DTS, see Note 5, Mountain Lion: Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC8xx

What audio devices show in System Preferences/Sound/Outputs and Inputs?

You missed a step
Mountain Lion HDMI audio - Verify S/L/E and org.chameleon.Boot.plist
1. Delete any and all audio enablers (HDAEnabler8??), helpers (ALC8??), etc.; AppleHDA.kext only.

Delete S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext, repair permissions and cache and restart. Reply with new IOReg,

OK IT WORKS!! :headbang::headbang:
it was necessary to remove the hdaenabler 1 and my system not work properly with a fresh install of lion Moutaine it works

thank you very much for your work, and your patience :thumbup::thumbup:

The update replaced S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext with the 10.8.2 native AppleHDA.kext. I'll bet you did not backup S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext before you did the update. Your choices are:
1. leave dsdt with current layout-id, run MultBeast 5.0.1/ALC whatever (add motherboard to your profile)
2. edit layout_id to 3, run Mulibeast 5.1.1/ALC whatever, see Mountain Lion: Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC8xx

You're right. I did not perform backup of AppleHDA.kext. I followed your advice and installed ALC892 from MB 5.0.1, yet I used the one Without DSDT. Did not work. I then installed the one With DSDT. No HDMI yet. Did I screw things up by installing Without DSDT first? When you say add motherboard to your profile, yo mean the forum profile right?

Regarding your profile, system says mac mini; edit mac mini to your motherboard. When you selected Without DSDT, S/L/E/HDAEnabler was installed. The enabler interferes with the dsdt. Delete the enabler, repair permissions and cache and restart. Reply with IOReg.

hi toleda

thanx again

lerned to do the edit - thinks it worked -

hdmi audio is still working on 1 off the 2 hdmi out port.

on the second - which ist working - ist no hdmi-audio

on both its airplay working ( just checked picture) and hdmi pc monitor is working now while airplay :) - the monitor on the dvi port is flakering - but this should get a htpc - so i don't need dvi

The Capri edit was not successful; no change from native. Try again.
