ASUS K43SV/A43SV with Mountain Lion, working on it, help needed

The battery indicator is not working properly after updating to ML 10.8.2. any one can help me?
 
Pls. help. I have K43SV and my wifi is not working. I followed the steps regarding AR9285 although I don't know what it is but I'm pretty sure I did the editing of the Info.plist correctly.

BTW, I'm only using Lion so I have another issue regarding alc269 audio because the attached AppleHDA is for 10.8. Can I use it or if not, can anyone tell me where can I get a patched AppleHDA for 10.7?

Since you use lion, you should edit /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/AirPortAtheros21.kext/Contents/Info.plist
add this line:
<string>pci168c,2b</string>
after this line:
<string>pci168c,2a</string>
 
Thanks, but it doesn't seem to be working. Should wifi be turned on automatically or is there something I still have to do to activate wifi other than editing AirPortAtheros21.kext?
 
Ok I updated to 10.8 and it's working now.

My problem now is the audio. I tried the DSDT patch using DSDTSE but still no luck. My laptop is K43SV. What could be the problem?

If you are using same model with me, why not just use my DSDT file and audio driver?

Or what's the difference with your laptop compared with mine?
 
I'm actually using your DSDT because we have the same model. I don't think there's a difference. Could it be the bios because I skipped the bios update part on your pre-install instructions. I had problems downloading.

BTW you haven't mentioned about bluetooth, is yours working?

I put the 317 ROM file in the attachment files of the top post. You can try there.

I don't have bluetooth installed on my laptop. Which model is on yours?

We have the same model, K43SV right? You should have bluetooth. Check the specs from the link you posted.
