Download OpenCL_OceanWave 2012 to test opencl you should get around 320fps to 370fps. And when you click go it should go fast when you do not do the agpm.edit it goes slow for about 3 secs then speeds up :). This is why i did the AGPM.EDIT to fix this issue

Really need some help here...

My Hackintosh build is completed and running with a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH and NVidia GeForce GTX560Ti. Running 10.8.1 and BIOS Rev 4. I haven't installed anything but the OS and Adobe CS5. When I leave it running for a few hours without doing any work on it I get the spinning beach ball and my video gets screwy and I can't do anything. I can ping the box remotely and login via ssh without issue.
It must be video card related, I cannot login via vnc or Timbuktu.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated

The Card works without Issues in Windows 7, Energy Settings to never sleep display, computer or HD, No screensaver
I followed this guide to config the hackintosh...

Any help is appreciated

Try editing agpm kext and extract ROM file.. as mentioned in this thread.. this works for most of us..

hey.. do you by chance have any idea how to solve this error message i get on console on playing youtube..

9/14/12 5:30:59.769 PM PluginProcess[292]: AVF error: AVAHDGPURendererVP2VP3BoostVP3: AGPMSetBoost code = 0 returned 0xe00002c2 (ig)

Some say that agpm kext has to be edited to get rid of this issue.. any clue?

Hi larryscl, I have what sounds like the exact same problem wiht my GTX560Ti. In Win7 I never have any problems, any crashes, any glitches of any kind. I can leave my system on for days, weeks, and it wakes up and works every time. In OSX it lasts anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours but eventually it glitches with display corruption, crashes and becomes unresponsive and needs a hard reboot. I can leave it on overnight and every morning without fail it's crashed.

None of the things I have read about on here to try have worked so far. agpm kext edits and extract ROM file did not change a thing for me.

Nvidia's new drivers released around September 11 also did not fix it - I thought they were doing ok, but I left my system on overnight to see how it would go and I got the frozen crash and coloured squares sometime during the night. I suspect around 1am thanks to the Console log which I can post tonight.

One change I made was tied to what powersave states the card can enter and when... I wonder if this is the key, and maybe I need to change them to certain settings. I just have no idea which settings to try and which powersave states are good and which are bad. If anyone has any advice on that, I'd love to hear about it.

I have a H67N-USB3-B3 with the GTX560Ti card and have the same issues with colored squares then it crashes. I have given up and put a GTS450 back in and that works no problems. I tried everything in this issue and nothing works, so until theres a fix the GTX560TI card just doesn't work for me. I hope it can be figured out, I have sorta a newbie and just don't understand how the kext work.
