ASUS P6T (non-SE, non-Deluxe, non WS Pro... just the plain old P6T)

DSDT is from FleeBailey (just leave all other stuff, most of it is outdated by now): The Flee's OSX86 Page: Update

The 6xxx cards require some special attention: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...mountain-lion-6xxx-gpu-issues-fix-inside.html

The onboard sound chip will work if you replace AppleHDA.kext with the one from Marionez (Google it). If you still don't hear any sound, replace the batteries of your hearing aid and if that doesn't help make sure sure the sound output is set to LINE OUT in the sound preference pane.

Using the original AppleACPIPlatform.kext there will be a 75s boot delay, that's why you want to use the patched version from MultiBeast

Wake from sleep won't work with the patched AppleACPIPlatform.kext included in MultiBeast. It works with the untouched version from 10.6.8 though which can be extracted from the 10.6.8 combo update package still available from Apple.

In org.chameleon.Boot.plist make sure you set GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates to yes

Don't use the darkwake or ncpi kernel flags

Just incase anyone wants the ALC1200 audio driver. Use Kextbeast to install and Kext Utility to repair permission and rebuild the kernel cache before reboot.

It looks like my 6870 boots just fine with these settings in Chimera:

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Duckweed</string>
<key>AtiPorts</string>
<string>4</string>

This even worked with the installer, I didn't have to remove any kexts to prevent the white/flickering screen.

FleeBailey DSDT + audio

Hey thanks for the tutorial/post, much appreciated but i have two questions

You posted a link on FleeBailey site for the DSDT. I didn't find a direct link on that page but found a 2.0.9.zip that contains it in his site?
http://cl.ly/bff6e1a2e6de7ee475b8 . Is this the correct one you used?

And my other question regarding Marionez .kext at http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=161430 . he stated to modify the DSDT for mountain lion.

Did you have to modify to get it to work.

much appreaciated

For audio just install the zip file that I've attached before by deleting the original AppleHDA.kext and installed the patched AppleHDA.kext using KExt Wizard or Kextbeast and use Kext Utility to repair permission and rebuild the kernel cache.

As for DSDT you can use this.

Thanks for your help guys. Everything on my hackintosh is now running perfectly. I managed to download appleacpiplatform.kext from osx86.net and it worked perfectly (no delay in boot up). Thanks again :)

How exactly do you get the audio to work? I have tired everything and this driver does not seem to do it. Any other ideas would be smashing as everything else is working great!! Thank you again!!

THank you for your information. I used it on my machine, but I still see only 1 cpu working. Is that normal? In Windows 7 I see 2 cpus. Attached is a screenshot of the system information.

My mistake, I have 8 bars in my CPU history when using activity monitor. By clicking on CPU usage they are revealed. So I guess its fine.
