So, just a quick question. If I omit the graphics card for the first run, will this system run with Lion OOB?

All other kit will be off the 2012 Buyers Guide?

You wil need Mountain Lion. Lion does not support Ivy Bridge CPUs. You won't need the GPU right away because you can use the onboard HD 4000.
