Okay this is my first post so youll have to be pretty patient with me, im building a video rig so i can do animations and what not, the biggest problem ill have is picking the parts

So far i have this basket

The specs are
i7 3770k
8gb corsair ram
asus z77 1155 socket
nvidia 670 grpahics card
Im going to install osx on the 500gb drive (windows will be on the ssd)

I just need to know what versions i could install with minimal problem.
Also i need to know if i can get an sli setup working with Lion or even Mountain lion if thats possible.

Have you checked the recommendations on www.customac.com? Everything in your list is fine, apart from the mainboard - Asus does a whole bunch of Z77 / 1155 boards, so an exact model number would be good to be able to comment on that.

In general, as you can see from the CustoMac builds, you're usually best off with a Gigabyte board, as they require the least amount of work to run OS X properly.

Still nothing, on another note can i still overclock inside osx and keep it stable

You don't overclock inside OS X, you have to tweak your bios settings. Any computer these days can be overclocked with an unlocked CPU and yes, you can overclock and run OS X.

Oh yeah i realise that but asus have a software package that can overclock inside the os makes it eaisyer to tweak then constant reboots.
