Hello All,
I'm very happy with the results of my build everything just works. The Mod's, OP's of this tonymacx86 truly make it easy. I only had a couple of minor problems and "wfj" helped me with those minor issues. Thank you wfj.

I do have a question and this might not be possible. I currently have "instant menu" installed so that I can dual boot between Mac and Windows 7. However, I'm not able to make a selection using my wireless Apple keyboard, I have to use my wired keyboard. Once I'm in to either OS it works fine. I also have a Magic Mouse that works. I'm using a RocketFish Bluetooth adapter.

Is there a workaround for this? Only reason I ask, is because on my Macbook Pro, I can hold down the Option Key and it would let me choose which drive to boot from with boot camp.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Joe

I am using an Apple Wireless keyboard and dual booting windows 7. I have found two bluetooth adapters that work with Chimera and in my bios. The Belkin min bluetooth adapter and a Targus bluetooth adapter. I got the belkin from Frys and the Targus from Office Depot. To maintain bluetooth functionality in both operating systems, you must pair the keyboard in Windows first. Then boot into Mac OS X and pair it. Then the keyboard will work in both OSes. To get the keyboard to work with Chimera, you must initialize it before you see the Chimera boot logo. I usually tap my space bar during boot up until I see the green led on the right side of the keyboard illuminate. Then at the chimera logo you can tap the space bar and then you can select which OS to boot.

I use logitech Mk300. works fine in dual booting.
Sleep and other issues I have but not because of wireless keyboard.

Hi jsuaggie,
I wanted to report back and let you and everyone know I received my 8.00 Targus bluetooth today. I followed your instructions and now I'm able to use my Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse to dual boot at the Chimera screen. With one difference, and I've tested this 3 times. Instead of my tapping my keyboard to activated I have to tap my mouse. I'm not sure why this is, but I did install the magic mouse first in windows, then the keyboard. Rebooted and set it up on the Mac side. Thanks for the information, hope it helps others if they have the issue too.

Guys and Gals,
I wanted to update the community on my experience with the Targus bluetooth adapter. As noted previously I recently purchased the Targus bluetooth adapter and as stated in my last post, it works at the boot screen, so that I could select which OS I wanted to boot into. The issue that I had on occasion was losing my connection between my Apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse. After a couple of days, I've have resolved the issue by moving the bluetooth adapter from the back to the front usb port. No more lost connections.

jsuaggie, could you specify the exact model of the belkin and tarsus that were working in your setup, dual boot and bios?

Yes! Could you kindly tell what motherboard and bluetooth adapter are you using? :)
