Z790 Chipset & Raptor Lake

All I did was flash my bios, then Load Optimized Defaults setting, boot to Ventura the sleep problom got solved miraculously. Then I change the bios settings one by one, make sure sleep still good. I think you can also use the default bios setting to test sleep, don't change anything. I'm running DDR5 6000, but I can not enable XPM, it can only run at 5600, about CPU temps, I was use Intel Power Gadget in Monterey, all looks good, I'm not install it in Ventura, because I can hear the fan sound and feels good, I'm 13900KF btw.
If you have only 2 RAM modules...probably you wrong the place. I have the same motherboard (Z790 Aorus Elite AX) and on the PCB , near to RAM, is marked where you have to put ram in case you have only 2 modules.
The writing states to use (starting from right toward left) the first and the third slot.
I've done this way, and my RAM runs in XMP1 at 6000MHz without problems with BIOS F3g.

@valvator - Try disabling above 4G decoding and resizable bar support in the bios and see if that resolves the second sleep issue. You'll need to edit your config.plist to set appleresizebars (or whatever the parameter is called) to -1 before you make the bios change. I was able to fix the second sleep issue with this change. It did take an unusual amount of time to sleep, but it would sleep once I made his change. I did have a 13900KF installed at the time, but I don't think that was the solution.

Unable to boot with disabling above 4G, I have -1 in
ResizeAppleGpuBars
I tried to set it to auto but it doesn't work.

Did you disable ResizableBars in the BIOS too? If I remember right, you'll only see that option when Above4G decoding is set to Auto. Then you can disable it, then disable Above4GDecoding. Also check that the integrated graphics is disabled in BIOS.

This new Lilu resolve the issue of " i can't see temperature" on Raptor Lake CPUs.

I disassembled the testing phase. Now I'm going to assemble it in my drawer. When everything is assembled, I'll test it again. But it seems that I've also made this option of disabling the 2, and I couldn't boot.

Unfortunately I got 4 sticks, GSkill F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5RK, I also updated BIOS to F3g, but it still only running at 5600. I think your suggestion will help someone who have two sticks. Having said that, I'm happy with my setup, it's basically perfect, I've been working with it for a few weeks, It's stable and smooth, It also got not bad geekbench score :D

Try this: use only 2 sticks (in the right place); set XPM1 to 6000MHz; reboot to look if it's OK; then shutdown PC. Next, put the further 2 sticks. Finally, restart pc and enter in the BIOS last time to check.

Thanks! I wish I had this a month ago. Would have saved me some time debugging why my system was randomly shutting down.
