OpenCore z390 Aorus Pro WIFI?

Very cool; I would be envious except that I have 4 Hacks and a 2005 PPC G5 Macintosh that work, and am too old to look far forward. Have fun with your new Studio... Max, or Ultra?

3. In EFI/OC/Kexts, there are kexts for both a Broadcom Bluetooth/WIFI card and an Intel card. Does your computer have both? Also, my Z390 I Aorus Pro ("Mini-ITX 4" below and at left) does not need "RestrictEvents.kext" or ""XHCI-unsupported.kext" to run

Hello wstrohm,
I am struggling to get my Ventura installer USB stick working with Opencore. So far I am running Catalina with Clover. Do you mind sharing your EFI folder? Obviously I will change serial numbers, etc.
It seems we have more or less the same HW, my CPU is less powerful
- Aorus Pro Wifi Mini-ITX
- RX580 8Gb
- i5-8400
- Samsung 850 Sata SSD

Hi - my old z390 was the same as yours apart from the form factor and CPU but this EFI Folder should get you up and running. Clean your NvRAM and try it, I use a formulated SSDT file (as shown) and an entry in the config.plist to map the USB Ports instead of a kext file, if you have any problem with the USB Ports just delete the entry in the config.plist remove the SSDT from the folder and use USBInjectAll.kext instead until you properly map your ports.

Hopefully the attached EFI Folder and pics will get you started, all files are updated to the latest so you should be good to go. Good luck.

great! many thanks!! Also for the screenshots and instruction on the USB mapping

Please note that this can only be done in Catalina; USBInjectAll.kext cannot be used in Ventura.

No problem, although it looks as if "esafeddie" has covered you on this. But if you still want it, here is mine (less Generic info).

Are you sure? Because I used that kext in both my Z490 and Z590 machines until they were properly mapped in both Ventura Betas and Released.
Only from what I have read on this forum from moderators. Supposedly Catalina is the last Mac OS for which USBInjectAll.kext can be (successfully) used. Also the OC/Kernel/Add/Kext/XhciPortLimit Boolean Value of YES is "broken in later versions of MacOS." So all logical ports can no longer be activated for USB mapping (so I have read).
I looked at your (esafeddie) EFI folder today, and I note your "SSDT-6.aml" USB port mapping looks like it might have come from Clover. I am ignorant of how to read that iMacASL.app listing... too complicated for me, but it seems to include "USB Port Capabilities" of "0" (480 Mbytes/sec) everywhere. Do you have a USBPorts.kext or a USBMap.kext somewhere that shows the SSxx ports actually working on USB 3?

This is what I am using in my Gigabyte Z590 M(kext 1) and this is what I am using in the MSI Z490 (KEXT 2)

The Z490 info.plist looks like it has 20 (total) logical ports listed... I have no idea what "SSS" ports are. There are 18 ports in the "main" listing. But the relations among the HSxx ports and SSxx ports look correct.
The Z590 info.plist has the correct 15 ports, but some of the "USBConnector" Values look strange to me. But I have never used either of your two motherboard types... nothing beyond a Z390 for me. I attached pics FYI.
