[SUCCESS] Celeri's "Silent Mini Beast" — Z690M-ITX/ax + i5-12600 + RX 6600

By the way, can anyone explain me how to attach a ZIP file to my first post? I cannot find any option in the editor for this... For now I have hosted it on another server, but I would prefer doing it right!

It should be as easy as using the “attach files” button at the bottom of the post. Click it and navigate to the location of the zipped file. Does that not work for you?

I cannot believe I missed that... Thanks a lot!

Hello there,
Thank you very for your build. Is there any difference if I use 12600K and 6600 XT? I would like to build a mini PC like yours but with that 12600K and 6600 XT.

As far as I know it should work, but with the following caveats:
  • Make sure your cooling system can handle the "K" processor, which will generate more heat
  • Make sure the 6600 XT graphic card has adequate dimensions for the case (275mm length, 147mm width and 50mm thickness)

Thank you very much for your reply. I will focus on that. I appreciate your comment. Thank you.

Does your build work on Venture macOS as well?

Hi all,

I have just acquired a new monitor (Asus VG28UQL1A) which supports 4K (3840x2160) at 144 Hz refresh rate, however I can only get 100 Hz in the end. I have read that macOS has problems with DSC right now, but still I should be able to get 120Hz, right?

I have tried under Windows, I have the proper 144 Hz rate @ 4K.
I have also checked that 120Hz in 4K is supported by the display through DP 1.4, no question here either.

Any ideas?

[EDIT] Just got it working with the creation of a custom resolution, thanks to SwitchResX!

Congratulation on your build.

I have Sapphire RX 6600 as well in my build. In my system, it goes to a black screen for a few second (kinda 5-10 seconds) before hit the desktop. Does your build have the same symptoms?
