This may be helpful for someone else, however I have noticed that my iPhone is not detected for Continuity Camera unless I have a webcam plugged in via USB.

Once I have a USB camera plugged in, Continuity Camera works as expected.

I speculate that this may be related to my choice to use an iMac SMBios, and as such MacOS Ventura would expect a webcam always to be present.

It would be interesting to understand what the experience has been for those using iMac or Mac Pro SMBios settings.

I realised this too...
interestingly, I got my continuity camera working on WhatsApp video call, but not FaceTime video call... did u get yours working..

when I use FaceTime app, the other side can see my face, but I cannot see the video of the other side. it has an exclamation mark on the screen. verbal communication worked.

on the other hand, WhatsApp Mac desktop version works perfectly with continuity camera

make sure your phone is in magic pose position. on a stand or held still that's the only way I got continuity to work

did you get it work for FaceTime, and have a Video call for over a minute?
I only clicked the FaceTime app to see if it worked as long as its in magic pose it works.i don't use FaceTime at all

you will not know if it works until u make a successful call

I opened FaceTime and I can see video via the phone with magic pose

But once it is connected, the phone video function will not work, however, screen sharing still works

I do have an intel card. My phone does the beep -- but only black screen shows. Don't want to sound dumb.. but what is the "magic pose?"
